[BLANK] performed by Caerphilly Youth Theatre at Blackwood Miners’ Theatre

Fancy watching some fantastic theatre for only £5? Then check out this performance of Blank by Caerphilly Youth Theatre!

[BLANK] BY ALICE BIRCH will be performed by Caerphilly Youth Theatre as part of NATIONAL THEATRE CONNECTIONS 2018
March 20th and 21st 2018 8pm BMI

[BLANK] is a challenging and robust piece of writing that invites groups to choose their own scenes from a series of vignettes thematically linked by the theme of absent parents. The play is a co-commission between National Theatre Connections and Clean Break, a company that works with women who have committed, or are at risk of committing, a crime.

The CYT members have created an unnerving narrative of their own from the scenes, exploring what happens to three vulnerable children when both their parents, and the ‘system’ fail to protect them adequately.

This is a hard hitting piece that features mature themes and potentially offensive language. It is not suitable for under 14s.

There are two performances for this play (20th and 21st March) at 8pm. Tickets are available now for just £5.50 (including the booking fee), please click here to book your tickets online.
